Atılım University is located in the heart of the Turkish capital, Ankara, and extends over a green area of up to 250 thousand square meters, It was founded on July 15, 1997 by the Atılım Educational Foundation.

The university has a spacious campus equipped with the latest technologies and more than 150 laboratories for students for research and training purposes. One of the most important research centres within the university is the Centre of Excellence for Metal Formation.

Atılım University projects in research and development

Undergraduate Research Projects (LAP) is one of the most important programs of the Atılım University, thanks to its contribution to the training of leading researchers and realizing their potential as the university encourages scientific production efforts as a group and individually through scholarships of up to 1,000 TL per student and 15,000 TL in total and Projects are implemented within three sub-categories: basic research – experimental development – innovative product or process.

Projects that start as an industrial and recognised research and that have a multi-speciality cooperation and additional research capabilities are the best.

In addition to the projects supported by industry, as the projects TUBUTAK ARDEB, TEYDEB, BIDEB, the European Union ERASMUS program and public institutions are considered other projects are externally supported. Undergraduate research projects conducted since 2010 are shared with the university and beyond through exhibitions and presentations at the end of each academic year.
